Turks and Caicos, November 4 – 11, 2017
MadisonScuba will be spending a week of diving adventure at the beautiful Bohio Dive Resort on Grand Turk. This secluded Turks & Caicos beach resort is perfectly situated on a curve of pristine beach and 
prides itself on offering simple elegance in paradise. Even the most experienced divers will feel a rush when peering over the dramatic coral wall that plunges to more than a mile deep 300 yards off the beach. There’s a reason they call it the Grand Canyon of the Caribbean!
Bohio is a unique Grand Turk hotel; its rooms all have west-facing ocean views for you to enjoy the sunset from your private balcony. Boat dives are only a 5-10 minute ride away so all surface intervals will be spent back at the resort. The air temperatures will be around 85 and the water temperature around 80 degrees in November.
Price is $1,925 pp/double occupancy, diver. Rates for single occupancy and snorkelers are available upon request.

Air Transportation:
Air transportation is each person’s responsibility. We will let you know as soon as Wes and Tilly book their tickets; feel free to make the same itinerary. You have the option of booking your flight on your own or contacting Roxanne, at Maduro Dive. She will book your flight for a small additional fee.

Snorkeling:
You don’t have to be an experienced scuba diver to enjoy the secrets of the underwater world. With some of the most extensive coral reef systems worldwide, the Turks and Caicos Islands are ideal for on-the-surface explorations.
Snorkeling excursions with Bohio Resort highlight an abundance of coral, sponges and tropical fish in 
luxuriously warm and clear turquoise waters. Grand Turk boasts a spectacular coral wall just 300 yards offshore. The Snorkel on the Wall boat excursions at Bohio are suitable for snorkelers of all ability levels.
During these snorkeling excursions, you’ll get the chance to see colorful sponges and coral, an abundance of tropical fish, and you may catch sight of an eagle ray, sting ray, turtle or dolphin. Bohio’s very own Pillory Beach was voted one of the best snorkeling spots in the world by a popular men’s magazine, and is the perfect place to float around spotting juvenile fish amongst the rocky ledges, sleepy nurse sharks or schools of squid.
Trip Insurance:
Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. In the event of a inclement weather, this insurance will cover your costs if the trip has to be cancelled because of a storm or even in the event of losing days of diving due to high winds/waves and the boats don’t go out. Contact Wes or Tilly for trip insurance options. It is also strongly recommended that all divers have diver medical insurance.
Rental Gear:
Rental dive gear is available from MadisonScuba at our special weekly rate or through the Bohio Dive Resort dive shop. By renting from us, you will know exactly what you will be getting, that it is well maintained, and that it fits. Plus, no weight belts.
What’s next?:
Mail or drop off your deposit of $500 per person at the shop to reserve your place. If you pay by credit card, please add 3%. Your final amount of $1,425 is due on or before October 1, 2017. Feel free to make interim payments. Any cancellations are subject to loss of deposit and other fees.
